Gabbiano Niccolo black barber chair
Niccolo is a classic barber chair with its own character—rather than Greek meanders, it features openwork, mosaic-like decorations, while the hydraulic pump allows you to adjust the height even with a client in the chair. The black version with a button-tufted backrest is the most versatile take on this family.
Key features
- round, button-tufted backrest with decorative buttons
- reclining backrest with adjustable footrest—semi-reclined position for shaving
- hydraulic pump, 56–70 cm—adjustable even with a client in the chair
- full seat rotation
- headrest extends by approx. 20 cm
- towel holder beneath the armrest
- opening between the backrest and seat for cut hair
- openwork decorations on the calf-support panel and footrest plate
- upholstery made of matte synthetic leather
Reclining backrest and adjustment with a client in the chair
The backrest reclines to a semi-reclined position, while the adjustable footrest supports the client's legs—exactly what is needed for straight-razor shaving and beard care. The hydraulic pump allows the seat height to be adjusted from 56 to 70 cm even when the client is already seated.
Button-tufted upholstery
The round backrest, seat, and headrest are covered in matte synthetic leather with classic button tufting and decorative buttons. The matte finish does not reflect salon lighting and withstands daily disinfection well.
Openwork decorations
The calf-support panel and footrest plate feature openwork, irregular cutouts reminiscent of stone mosaics. This detail sets Niccolo apart from other classic designs and gives it its own character.
Extendable headrest and practical details
The headrest cushion extends upward by approx. 20 cm, so you can adjust it to suit clients of any height. A towel holder is located beneath the armrest, while the opening between the backrest and seat makes it easy to sweep away cut hair instead of picking it out of crevices.
Who is it for?
For barbershops looking for a classic, substantial design in timeless black—from vintage shops to modern salons with dark interiors.
Other versions of this chair
Niccolo is also available in a black version with a black base, a smooth black version without buttons, and an eye-catching black version with a gold base.
