Gabbiano President black barber chair
The black President is the most versatile version of this classic barber chair design — the entire piece is finished in matte and semi-matte black, from the tufted backrest to the decorative base castings. It suits any interior and never goes out of style.
Key features
- round, tufted backrest with decorative buttons
- reclining backrest with adjustable footrest — shaving position
- hydraulic pump with seat height adjustment from 54–67 cm
- seat rotation around its axis
- extendable headrest on a post — up to approx. 20 cm
- towel holder beneath the armrest
- opening between the backrest and seat through which cut hair falls
- Greek meander on the calf-support panel and decorative embossing on the black base
- upholstery made of semi-matte synthetic leather
Reclining backrest and shaving position
The chair backrest reclines into a semi-reclined position, while the adjustable footrest raises the client's legs. This setup is designed for razor shaving and beard care — the client can relax while you have full access to the face and neck.
Tufted upholstery with buttons
The black synthetic leather has a semi-matte finish that does not reflect lamp light and effectively conceals signs of everyday use. The round backrest features diamond stitching and is finished with buttons — a hallmark of the President range.
Greek meander and decorative castings
The calf-support panel is decorated with an embossed Greek meander, while the base and footrest plate feature repeated decorative botanical ornaments cast in metal. These details give the chair the character of a period piece that cannot be mistaken for anything else.
Extendable headrest and practical details
The headrest cushion extends along the post by approx. 20 cm, allowing you to support the head of both shorter and taller clients. A towel holder is located beneath the armrest, while the opening between the backrest and seat allows cut hair to fall onto the floor instead of collecting in the chair's hard-to-reach areas.
Who is it for?
For any barbershop — from classic establishments to modern, minimalist interiors. The combination of black and decorative castings looks elegant without feeling like a museum piece.
Other versions of this chair
You can also buy the same model in brown, red, and green with a black base.
FAQ
Can the backrest be reclined for shaving?
Yes. The backrest reclines into a semi-reclined position, while the adjustable footrest supports the legs — the client can lie comfortably during razor shaving or beard care.
Does the chair swivel?
Yes, the seat rotates around its axis on the hydraulic pump, making it easier to work around the client and get into the chair.
Is the headrest adjustable?
Yes, the headrest cushion is mounted on a post and extends upward by approx. 20 cm, allowing you to adjust it to the client's height.
What should be used to disinfect the upholstery?
Do not use alcohol-based products or strong cleaners such as Cif on synthetic leather. Choose products intended for synthetic leather, and wipe the surface with a damp cloth after disinfection.
