Gabbiano Ankara brown barber chair
The brown Gabbiano Ankara barber chair combines an angular, geometric form with warm upholstery featuring light-thread checkered stitching. The rectangular backrest is suspended above the seat with an open gap, while the entire chair rests on a chrome-plated square base.
Key features
- Seat height adjustment with a hydraulic pump from 48–64 cm
- Full seat rotation
- Checkered stitching on the sides and back of the shell
- Rectangular backrest panel measuring 50 x 41 cm, with a 12 cm gap above the seat
- Chrome-plated square base, 44.5 cm per side, with a mirror finish
- Synthetic leather upholstery in shades of brown
Geometric form with checkered stitching
The sides and back of the shell feature regular checkered stitching, giving the form an architectural character. The 57 cm-long, 7.5 cm-thick side sections support the client’s elbows 22 cm above the seat, while the 50 x 41 cm backrest panel is suspended with a 12 cm gap.
Gap for hair
Thanks to the 12 cm gap between the backrest and the seat, cut hair does not collect in the chair’s crease—it can be swept away in a single motion, reducing cleaning time between clients.
Adjustment and base
The hydraulic pump adjusts the 48 x 48 cm seat from 48–64 cm, even with a client sitting in the chair, while the full-rotation mechanism provides easy access from every side. The chrome-plated square base, 44.5 cm per side, has a mirror finish.
Who is it for?
Ankara is ideal for salons that appreciate distinctive, geometric furniture—the checkered shell looks impressive from the back as well, especially when the stations are arranged in an open space. The wide 48–64 cm adjustment range supports both standing and seated work.
Other versions of this chair
This model is also available as black Ankara and gray Ankara.
FAQ
What is the seat height adjustment range?
The hydraulic pump allows the seat to be adjusted from 48 to 64 cm, including when a client is sitting in the chair.
What is the gap beneath the backrest for?
It makes cleaning easier—cut hair does not become trapped between the backrest and the seat and can be swept away with a single brush stroke.
Is a footrest included?
No, the set includes the seat and the cylinder with the base.
Does the chair rotate?
Yes, the seat has a full-rotation mechanism.
What should be used to disinfect the upholstery?
Do not use alcohol-based products or strong cleaners such as Cif on synthetic leather. Choose products intended for eco-leather, and wipe the surface with a damp cloth after disinfection.
