How to choose a massage table

• Folding or stationary - a folding table with a carry bag is for working at clients’ homes and in small treatment rooms; a stationary rehabilitation table is for a fixed location and lets you adjust the height for each treatment.
• Frame - a wooden frame is heavier and more stable, while an aluminum one is lighter to carry. Check the weight and load capacity on the product page.
• Sections - 2 sections (tabletop and adjustable backrest) are enough for massage; 3 sections add an adjustable footrest or headrest.
• Height adjustment - folding tables have stepwise adjustment using the legs; rehabilitation tables have hydraulic (foot pump) or electric (remote control) adjustment.
• Features - face hole with plug, armrests, and a sheet holder. The product page shows what’s included.
• Width and length - typically about 70 cm wide and 180-190 cm long; each model’s dimensions are shown in the diagram.

• Is a folding table stable? Yes, when the legs are properly unfolded and the frame cables are taut. Do not sit on the edge of an unfolded table.
• Hydraulic or electric table? A hydraulic table does not need electricity and is cheaper; an electric table changes height effortlessly during treatment, which matters in physiotherapy.
