That is 3 cm more than in the other models with round seats. For a backless stool, seat width is more important than in a model with back support because the entire weight rests on this one surface. A wider seat also lets you change position or turn without sliding off the edge.
Decorative stitching around the seat
The seam runs around the perimeter and separates the top surface of the seat from the side. It gives the seat its shape and keeps the foam edge aligned. With a seat thickness of 7 cm, the perimeter seam also prevents the filling from bulging sideways after prolonged use.
