Rotation in both directions

The entire seat rotates on the column—to the left and right, by a quarter turn. In podiatry, this changes the way you work: instead of walking around the chair to reach the other foot, you turn the client toward you. The lamp and drill remain where they are. The lock holds the selected position, so nothing turns during the treatment.

Five actuators on the remote control

Height, backrest, both footrest halves separately, and cradle. Each footrest half has its own motor, so you can adjust the angle with a button instead of bending down to a lever or removing your gloves. During a treatment where you correct the foot position several times, this saves a significant number of movements.

Split footrest for podiatrists

Two halves instead of one platform—each foot has its own support. When treating one foot, the other leg can stay lower and not obstruct the work area. Separating the halves gives you access to the foot from the side and from the inside, not only from the front.

One leg higher, the other lower

The halves operate completely independently of each other. The leg you are working on moves up and toward you. The other one lowers so the client does not have to hold it in the air for an hour. During longer treatments, this independence saves you from constantly asking the client to change position.

Access to the feet from every side

Rotating the seat and separating the halves of the leg rest together open up the work area. This combination is not available on any other chair in the range: rotate the station toward you, then separate the leg rests to access the foot from the outside. When treating ingrown toenails or working with a magnifying-lamp drill, this directly reduces strain on the neck and shoulders.

Full backrest reclining range

From a seated position to flat, with no intermediate steps. The image shows successive backrest and leg-rest positions overlaid to illustrate how many positions are actually available. You can stop at any position you want.

Seat height from 60 to 100 cm

At 100 cm, the work area is positioned at chest height for a standing specialist. For pedicures, the upper limit is the most important: the client's feet are raised to a height that lets you work sitting upright, without hunching. The lower 60 cm is the height of a standard chair—the client can sit down without climbing up, and you raise the chair only afterward.

Reclines to 180 cm

The backrest, seat, and leg rests form one continuous plane. The podiatry chair can also be used for body treatments—in this position, it can accommodate a massage or work on the back. Once brought together, the two halves of the leg rest form a continuous surface, with no gap beneath the calves.

Rocking function as the fifth actuator

Tilts the entire structure as one plane—the head moves downward and the legs move upward. This is not backrest reclining: the backrest, seat, and leg rests remain in the same position relative to one another, while everything tilts at once. In podiatry, this is useful for treatments requiring the legs to be raised above heart level.

Headrest with a face opening

The opening is cut directly into the headrest, not into an added frame. The podiatry chair can also be used for back treatments—in this position, the client lies on their stomach with their face in the opening. The headrest is contoured and supports the head from the sides, so nothing slides off when the backrest is reclined.

200 kg weight capacity

200 kg is 60 kg more than in the cosmetic version 869A. A higher weight capacity with the same construction means a greater safety margin and stronger segment mounts. With a chair that also swivels and rises to 100 cm, this extra capacity translates into stability in everyday work.

How much space it takes up in the salon

88 cm wide and 180 cm long. With a swivel chair, however, it is not the footprint but the circle that matters—you need free space all around it, otherwise you will not be able to use the rotation. The chair weighs 80 kg and arrives in a 141 × 65 × 70 cm box.

Who it is for

For working on feet, with each leg positioned separately. The footrest is split, allowing you to reach the foot from the outside instead of working over the other leg.

FAQ

How far does the seat rotate?
By 90 degrees to the left and 90 degrees to the right.

What are the five actuators responsible for?
For the height, backrest, both footrest halves separately, and the cradle.

What is the weight capacity?
200 kg.

How high does the seat rise?
From 60 to 100 cm.

How does it differ from the 869A version?
A split footrest, a fifth actuator, and a higher weight capacity.

What should be used to disinfect the upholstery?
With alcohol-free products and without harsh detergents. Alcohol-based products and Cif-type cleaners remove the protective layer from eco-leather, causing the material to become dull and lose its elasticity.
