Gabbiano BM18011 Waiting Room Chair
The Gabbiano BM18011 waiting room chair features a club-style design on high chrome-plated legs, with a lever-operated sliding mechanism—the seat extends forward, allowing the client to adopt a more comfortable, relaxed position while waiting.
Key features
- Lever-operated seat extension mechanism
- Club-style design with an overall width of 64 cm
- High chrome-plated legs (20 cm) for easy cleaning underneath the chair
- Removable backrest cushion and comfortable foam seat
- Black synthetic leather upholstery
- Seat height: 40 cm
Extending seat
The lever on the side activates the extension mechanism—the seat slides forward, allowing the client to comfortably stretch out their legs while waiting for their appointment. When retracted, the chair returns to its compact club-style form with a seat depth of 46 cm.
Club-style design
The 64 cm-wide design has sides that are 42 cm high and 7 cm thick, serving as armrests that extend 25 cm above the seat. The backrest, designed as an angled cushion measuring 50 x 45 cm, supports the back in a natural reclined position.
Upholstery and legs
Black synthetic leather is moisture-resistant and easy to wipe clean, which is especially important in a waiting area. Four 20 cm-high chrome-plated legs raise the chair above the floor, so sweeping and mopping underneath it does not require moving the chair.
Who is it for?
BM18011 will furnish the waiting area of a hairdressing or beauty salon—either on its own or paired with another chair on opposite sides of a table. Its extending seat sets it apart from typical waiting room chairs.
Other versions of this chair
The range also includes the Omega Grandeur waiting room chair in light brown.
FAQ
How does the extension mechanism work?
The lever on the side of the chair releases the seat, which slides forward, allowing the client to adopt a more comfortable, relaxed position. The seat retracts just as easily.
Does the chair have height adjustment?
No, this is a waiting room chair with fixed legs—the seat is positioned 40 cm above the floor.
Can you clean underneath the chair?
Yes, the high legs (20 cm) leave clearance underneath, so sweeping and mopping the floor does not require moving the chair.
How should the upholstery be cared for?
Wipe the synthetic leather with a soft cloth and a mild cleaning agent, avoiding harsh chemicals.
What should be used to disinfect the upholstery?
Do not use alcohol-based products or strong cleaners such as Cif on synthetic leather. Choose products intended for synthetic leather, and wipe the surface with a damp cloth after disinfection.
