Gabbiano Lille black hairdressing chair with a gold base
The Gabbiano Lille hairdressing chair stands out with its openwork gold slatted basket, which connects the upholstered backrest ring to the seat. Thanks to this distinctive silhouette, a Lille workstation immediately attracts attention.
Key features
- Seat height adjustment with a hydraulic pump from 48–55 cm
- Full seat rotation
- Openwork gold basket connecting the backrest to the seat
- Upholstered backrest ring and 47 x 47 cm seat
- Gold footrest on a support arm
- Round black-and-gold base with rubberized underside
Openwork gold basket
Polished gold slats form a basket with an outer circumference of 66 cm and an inner opening of 50 cm, supporting an upholstered backrest ring measuring 33 cm in height. The gaps between the slats make it easier to keep the chair clean—hair does not collect in enclosed recesses.
Adjustment and footrest
The hydraulic pump adjusts the seat from 48–55 cm, including with a client sitting in the chair—the low adjustment range is comfortable for seated work. The full-rotation mechanism provides easy access from every side, while the client's feet rest on a gold footrest mounted on a 48 cm support arm with a 36 cm crossbar.
Upholstery and base
The 47 x 47 cm seat and backrest ring are upholstered in black synthetic leather that is moisture-resistant and easy to wipe clean. The interior contains foam that resists deformation. The round black-and-gold base has a rubberized underside that stabilizes the chair on slippery floors.
Who is it for?
Lille is designed for salons that want the chair itself to be a decorative feature—the openwork basket makes an impression in glamour and art deco interiors. Hairdressers who work while seated will appreciate the low 48–55 cm adjustment range.
Other versions of this chair
Wersal with a gold base and Marbella with a gold base offer a similar black-and-gold style.
FAQ
What is the seat height adjustment range?
The hydraulic pump allows the seat to be set from 48 to 55 cm, including with a client sitting in the chair.
Is the gold basket comfortable for the client?
The client rests their back against the upholstered backrest ring, not the slats—the basket serves a structural and decorative function.
How should the gold elements be maintained?
The gold surfaces are lacquered and polished—simply wipe them with a soft cloth and avoid abrasive products.
Is a footrest included?
Yes, the set includes the seat, a hydraulic cylinder with base, and a footrest.
What should be used to disinfect the upholstery?
Do not use alcohol-based products or strong cleaners such as Cif on synthetic leather. Choose products intended for eco-leather, then wipe the surface with a damp cloth after disinfection.
