Gabbiano Porto black-and-chocolate hairdressing backwash unit
The Porto version in which not only the fittings but also the base and ceramic basin are black. Against this backdrop, the chocolate-colored upholstery stands out, so the unit reads as a dark form with one warm element. The dimensions and equipment are the same as in the other Porto versions.

Black ceramic instead of white
The basin is black here, just like the wedge-shaped base. In the fourteen Porto variants, the bowl and housing are white. Here, both elements are black, leaving only the upholstery line and chrome plug visible. The ceramic has the same specifications as in the rest of the range: 56 by 50 cm with a depth of 20 cm.
Gap beneath the backrest
The gap between the backrest and seat runs across the entire width of the chair. Hair does not collect along the joint because there is no joint there. A broom or vacuum cleaner nozzle can be slid underneath in one motion, without moving the backwash unit away from the wall.
Chocolate-colored upholstery
The brown has a warm, rich shade with no gloss. The surface is smooth, with a single stitch running along the edge of the seat and backrest. The synthetic leather withstands daily wiping with an alcohol-free product, while the foam underneath is 9 cm thick and retains its shape under heavy use.
Metal armrests
The armrest is 37 cm long and has a 4 cm-wide profile. Its shape is geometric, bent at a right angle, with a 4 cm profile. In this version, the finish is black, so the arms blend into the base rather than standing out from it.
Mixer tap
You adjust the temperature with one lever before the water reaches the hair. The tap is positioned at the back of the bowl, out of the client's way, with a holder for the hand shower next to it. The complete set of fittings, including the hoses, is supplied with the unit.
Plug with strainer
The chrome contrasts with the black ceramic, making it easy to see when the strainer is full. The plug closes the drain when filling the bowl and filters the water the rest of the time. Collected hair remains on top and can be removed by hand, without opening the trap.
Hose and connection
The installation enters the base from below rather than running along the wall. The shower hose descends from the basin directly into the housing, where the pipes are routed. The backwash unit requires a permanent connection to the water supply and drain, like any unit with a basin.

The basin drops downward. What should I do?
The basin angle is adjusted with nuts and bolts at its mounting points, and adjustment may be needed after transport. Loosen the nut, tighten the bolt underneath, then tighten the nut again: one pair of bolts tilts the basin downward and the other upward. Tighten gradually, a little on each side. If the basin still drops after adjustment, contact us.
