Gabbiano Porto gray-and-gold hairdressing backwash unit
Gray upholstery with gold armrest arches on a white base with a white basin. The gold finish is limited to the two supports; the tap and hose remain black. The dimensions and mechanism are the same as in the other Porto variants.

Open space beneath the backrest
There is nowhere for hair to collect because there is no recess beneath the backrest. With a dozen or more washes a day, one wipe at the end of the shift is enough. The clearance is most visible from the back.
Ceramic basin with neck support
You can tilt the basin instead of asking the client to move closer. The basin measures 56 x 50 cm and is 20 cm deep, positioned 38 cm above the base. The contoured rim with a plastic neck rest supports the head, while the ceramic does not absorb dye from hair products.
Gold arches with gray upholstery
The gold finish is limited to the two armrest supports. Each support forms an open rectangle and runs 37 cm along the seat, with a profile 4 cm wide. The remaining metal around the basin is black, so the shine appears only at the client's arm height.
Fittings included
The tap, hand shower and hoses come with the backwash unit. Nothing needs to be purchased separately apart from the plumbing connections. The mixer tap is positioned at the back of the basin, while the hand shower holder sits on the basin rim.
Drain with strainer
You can immediately see when the strainer is full. The chrome-plated plug contrasts with the ceramic, so collected hair is clearly visible at first glance into the basin. Simply remove it by hand without opening the trap.
Installation inside the housing
From the outside, only the shower hose is visible. The rest of the plumbing is housed in the wedge-shaped base, and the rear panel provides access without removing the basin. Connection to the water supply and drain is required.
Upholstery finish
The synthetic leather withstands daily wiping with an alcohol-free cleaner. The backrest is 43 cm high, while the seat measures 52 x 47 cm and is 9 cm thick. The foam underneath retains its shape under heavy use, and the stitching runs only along the edges.
Who is it for?
For a salon where the shampoo unit is in a visible location and is cleaned after every client. There is open space across the entire width of the chair between the backrest and the seat, so a broom can pass underneath in one motion.

What should I use to disinfect the upholstery?
With alcohol-free products that do not contain strong detergents. Alcohol-based products and products such as Cif remove the protective layer from synthetic leather, causing the material to become dull and lose its flexibility.
The basin drops downward. What should I do?
The basin angle is adjusted using the screws and nuts at its mounting point, and adjustment may be necessary after transport. Loosen the nut, tighten the screw underneath, then tighten the nut again: one pair of screws tilts the basin downward, the other upward. Tighten gradually, a little on each side. If the basin still drops after adjustment, contact us.
