Height of 56–76 cm with backrest
This is a rare combination—most high stools do not have a backrest. When working at the height of a styling chair, you sit in a semi-standing position, in which your back tires more quickly than on a low stool. The backrest provides a point to lean back against between one section of hair and the next, instead of having to support your torso with your own muscles throughout the entire service.
Set-back backrest
The 30 cm gap above the seat leaves room for hip movement. If the backrest started directly above the seat, it would restrict torso rotation when reaching for scissors or a comb. The high-mounted 30 x 15 cm cushion supports only the middle section of the back and stays out of the way of the elbows.
Round seat
Seven and a half centimetres of padding across the entire surface. The seat has rounded edges, so it does not press against the underside of the thighs when the stool is set high and the feet do not rest flat on the floor. This detail matters more in a model reaching 76 cm than in a low beauty stool.
Black base
