Hair System Komodo black barber chair
Komodo in black, with a backrest quilted in a wide check pattern and armrests made of curved bars, mounted on a black, round base. The hydraulic pump operates within a range of 45–55 cm, and the seat rotates 360 degrees.
Key features
- Backrest quilted in a wide check pattern
- Armrests made of curved bars
- Hydraulic pump with 45–55 cm adjustment
- Full seat rotation
- Black, round base
- Synthetic leather upholstery
Quilted check pattern
The backrest (49 x 42 cm) is divided by stitching into a wide check pattern. The design is recessed, so it does not disappear over time, and dye does not settle in it as it does in deep button tufting.
Bar armrests
The armrests are curved bars 6 cm thick and 40 cm long. The client can slide onto the seat without squeezing through, while resting their forearms on the rounded, soft edge.
Height adjustment with a hydraulic pump
The hydraulic pump operates within a range of 45–55 cm, including with a seated client. The lever is operated with the foot, and the full seat rotation provides easy access from every side.
Synthetic leather upholstery
The seat measures 51 x 49 cm and contains 9 cm of foam. Synthetic leather does not absorb moisture, and the surface can be wiped clean in a single motion after each client.
Who is it for?
For a salon where the stations should be dark but not austere—the check pattern adds visual detail to the shape that smooth bucket-style chairs lack.
Other versions of this chair
Other black Hair System chairs: Borneo, Tru Noir, Studio Noir.
FAQ
What is the seat height adjustment range?
45–55 cm, with a hydraulic pump. The lever is under the seat and is operated with the foot, even when the client is seated.
Does the chair rotate?
Yes, the seat rotates a full 360 degrees on the cylinder.
Does the chair have a footrest?
No, this model does not have a footrest—the chair stands on the round base alone.
What should be used to disinfect the upholstery?
Alcohol-free products without strong detergents. Alcohol-based products remove the protective layer from synthetic leather, causing the material to become dull and lose its elasticity.
