The Germix single sterilizer is a safe way to achieve safe and effective disinfection without using chemical solutions or high temperatures. The device operates through the bactericidal action of UV radiation - ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 254 nm, falling directly on the surface, effectively destroys living forms of microorganisms. The simply designed device automatically switches off the UV lamp when the drawer is opened - ensuring the safety of both treatment specialists and clients.
Which tools is the UV-C sterilizer suitable for?
The device is suitable for any hairdressing or beauty salon. It enables efficient dry disinfection, during which equipment is not exposed to mechanical damage or blunting. It effectively cleans the surfaces of tools such as scissors, combs, brushes, nail nippers, tweezers, and clipper blades. To properly prepare tools for sterilization, wash and dry them, and disassemble those with a more complex design. Disinfection is effective when the rays fall directly on the element. The complete process takes 30 to 45 minutes.
How does UV-ray disinfection work?
This is a disinfection method that uses far-ultraviolet radiation (wavelength 100-280 nm, especially 254 nm, i.e. UV-C) - to kill or neutralize microorganisms by destroying nucleic acids and disrupting the DNA chain. It should be remembered that this is an auxiliary method and does not replace sterilization using an autoclave - it mainly affects living microorganisms and does not eliminate spores.
