Germix products enable efficient dry disinfection of tools using ultraviolet light. UV-C sterilizers of this brand allow effective neutralization of living forms of microorganisms, increasing safety in the salon.

Thorough tool disinfection
A single Germix sterilizer is a safe way for safe and effective disinfection without the use of chemical solutions or high temperature. The device operates based on the bactericidal effect of UV radiation – ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 254 nm, shining directly on the surface, effectively destroys living forms of microorganisms. The simply constructed device automatically switches off the UV lamp when the drawer is opened – ensuring safety for both specialists performing treatments and clients.

For which tools is the UV-C sterilizer suitable?
The device can be used in any hairdressing or beauty salon. It allows for efficient dry disinfection, during which the equipment is not exposed to mechanical damage or dulling. It perfectly cleans the surfaces of tools such as scissors, combs, brushes, nippers, tweezers, or clipper blades. To properly prepare tools for sterilization, they should be washed and dried, and those with more complex construction – disassembled. Disinfection is effective when rays fall directly on the element. The full process takes from 30 to 45 minutes.

What does disinfection by UV rays involve?
This is a disinfection method that uses far ultraviolet (wavelength 100-280 nm, especially 254 nm, i.e. UV-C) – to kill or neutralize microorganisms by destroying nucleic acid and breaking the DNA chain. It should be remembered that this is an auxiliary method and does not replace sterilization using an autoclave – it mainly acts on living microbes, and does not affect spores.
