Gabbiano Sylvia Plus black electric hairdressing backwash unit with massage
The black Gabbiano Sylvia Plus hairdressing backwash unit with chair combines four-roller back massage with an electrically reclining footrest. The quilted sides of the body and black ceramic basin measuring 50 x 56 cm give it a prestigious look.
Key features
- Four-roller back massage with direction change
- Electrically reclining footrest, buttons at the back of the chair
- Quilted sides of the body
- Ceramic basin in black shades, 50 x 56 cm
- Soft basin neck rest
- Mixer tap, shower handset and hoses included
- Drain plug with strainer
- 1/2-inch water connection, 30 mm drain
Four-roller back massage
Four rollers work in the backrest, moving along the spine. Their direction can be changed using the buttons at the back of the chair, allowing the massage to be adjusted to the client's preferences while their hair is being washed.
Electric footrest
The footrest is extended by an electric actuator controlled by buttons. The client can assume a comfortable semi-reclining position without manual adjustment, while you can continue working.
Button panels at the back of the chair
The footrest and massage buttons are located on the rear side of the chair. You can reach them while standing behind the client, without walking around the station.
Ceramic basin
The basin is ceramic and black, measuring 50 x 56 cm. Ceramic does not absorb dyes or conditioners, while the contoured neck rest with soft padding supports the neck without contact with the cool surface.
Fittings included
The mixer tap, shower handset and hoses are included and finished in black. The handset has its own holder, while the water temperature is adjusted using the mixer.
Drain plug with strainer
The drain includes a plug with a strainer that catches hair before it reaches the plumbing. It can be removed for cleaning.
Quilted sides
The outer sides of the body feature diamond quilting across their entire height, distinguishing the Plus version and giving the backwash unit a decorative character.
Installation beneath the basin
The 1/2-inch water connection and 30 mm drain run beneath the basin, keeping the installation concealed.
Who is it for?
For a salon that wants to offer hair washing as a separate ritual - the back massage and comfortable semi-reclining position provide a reason to price the treatment higher than a simple hair wash.
Other versions of this furniture
Sylvia Plus is also available in a beige version. Related models include Sylvia with massage and black Sylvia with footrest.
FAQ
How does the massage work?
Four rollers move along the spine in the chair's backrest. Their direction can be changed using the buttons at the back of the chair.
How does Sylvia Plus differ from Sylvia with massage?
Plus has diamond-quilted sides and a 50 x 56 cm basin. Both versions feature four-roller massage and an electric footrest.
What are the dimensions of the backwash unit?
91 cm deep, 75 cm wide and 70 cm high at the side. The basin measures 50 x 56 cm.
Are the fittings included?
Yes. The mixer tap, shower handset, hoses and drain plug with strainer are included.
What should be used to disinfect the upholstery?
Do not use alcohol-based products or strong cleaners such as Cif on synthetic leather. Choose products intended for faux leather, and wipe the surface with a damp cloth after disinfection.
The basin tilts downward. What should I do?
The basin angle is adjusted using the nuts and bolts at its mounting points, and adjustment may be needed after transport. Loosen the nut, tighten the bolt underneath, then tighten the nut again: one pair of bolts tilts the basin downward and the other upward. Tighten gradually, a little on each side. If the basin still tilts downward after adjustment, contact us.
