Split footrest for podiatrists
Two halves instead of one plate—each foot has its own support and angle. During treatment on one foot, the other leg can remain lower and stay out of the working area. Separating the halves provides access to the foot from the side and inside, not just from the front—this matters when treating ingrown toenails and when working with a drill.
One leg higher, the other lower
The halves operate independently of each other. The leg you are working on moves up and toward you. The other moves lower so the client does not have to hold it in the air for an hour. During longer treatments, this independence eliminates the need to keep asking the client to change position.
HOT function: heating
One button on the remote switches on the backrest and seat heating. The warm surface relaxes the muscles and prevents the client from becoming stiff during a longer treatment. In a podiatry office, where the client sits still with their feet exposed, this makes more sense than in a beauty salon.
Programmed position settings
The remote stores positions, so you can return to them with one button. If you perform several types of treatments, each has its own backrest, cradle, and height setting. Instead of adjusting each one separately every time, you can recall it from memory.
Foot switches in the base
Hands-free control when both hands are busy. The row of buttons runs along the base, so you can adjust the height or backrest angle with your foot during the treatment without putting down the drill. This solution is well known from dental chairs but rare in podiatry chairs.
Colored LED base lighting
The LED strip shines beneath the plinth and changes color. It is purely visual—either you like it or you turn it off. Perforated upholstery
Hundreds of tiny holes in the synthetic leather, which are not found in the less expensive 708 chairs. The perforation allows air to circulate, so the client's back sweats less during prolonged sitting—especially when the heating is on. The pattern is also a visible distinguishing feature: the chair has a textured rather than smooth surface.
Rocking function as the third actuator
It tilts the entire structure as one plane—head down, legs up. This is not backrest reclining. The backrest, seat, and footrests remain in the same position relative to one another, while everything tilts at once—as shown in the photo by the angle of the entire structure relative to the base. In podiatry, this is useful for treatments requiring the legs to be raised above heart level.
Length from 190 to 220 cm
The 30 cm difference comes from the extending headrest and footrest. The main body is 163 cm long; the rest consists of extendable sections. For a client who is 190 cm tall, nothing extends beyond the edge, while with a shorter client, you do not occupy unnecessary space in the treatment room.
Working position for foot treatments
Backrest slightly reclined, footrests raised—the client is semi-reclined. This is the position used for most of the treatment: the client is relaxed but not lying flat, and the feet are at hand level. Each actuator moves smoothly and stops at any point within its range.
Seated position for consultations
Backrest upright, footrests lowered—the client sits normally. This is useful during the consultation, when examining the foot before the treatment, and when settling the bill. The armrests are positioned 14 cm above the seat and provide support for the forearms.
Flat position for body treatments
The backrest, seat and footrests form one flat surface. A podiatry chair is also sometimes used for body treatments—in this position, it can be used for massage or back treatments. When brought together, the footrest halves form a continuous surface without a gap beneath the calves.
How much space it takes up in the treatment room
From 190 to 220 cm long, depending on how far the headrest and footrest are extended. When planning the space, allow for the maximum length—otherwise you will not be able to use the extensions. Leave passage space on both sides, because with a split footrest you work from the left and then from the right.
