Range: 56–77 cm
13 cm higher than the AM-302 saddle-style beauty stool. The higher setting is for working at a hairdressing chair, while the lower setting is for working at a treatment bed. On a low stool, you work with raised shoulders, which affects your shoulders after several clients; here, the seat rises to the level where your hands are working.
Saddle seat
The thighs slope downward, and the pelvis naturally positions itself. On a flat seat, the hips and knees are bent at right angles, causing the pelvis to tuck backward and the back to round naturally. The saddle opens this angle, allowing the spine to return to its natural curve without constantly having to think about posture. At a high setting, you sit in a semi-standing position and can easily get up between tasks.
Base span
The five arms, with a 50 cm span, keep the stool stable even at its highest setting. At 77 cm, the seated person's center of gravity is high above the floor, so the wide base is more important here than on a stool with a range up to 60 cm. The casters let you turn around the chair without standing up.
Who is it for?
For working in a forward-leaning position, where an ordinary stool tucks the pelvis under. The saddle seat opens the hips and positions the spine closer to its natural curve, so the back works naturally without leaning against a backrest.
