Gabbiano Porto gray-gray hairdressing backwash unit
The Porto version with gray upholstery and gray armrests, on a white base with a white basin. The fixtures are black. Apart from the color scheme, it is the same backwash unit as the rest of the range: a ceramic basin with an adjustable angle, a gap beneath the backrest, and a connection concealed in the base.

Metal armrests
The arm is 37 cm long and has a 4 cm wide profile. Its shape is geometric, bent at a right angle, with a 4 cm wide profile. The edge is positioned where the hand naturally rests, so the shoulder does not remain raised throughout washing. The finish is gray in this version.
Gap beneath the backrest
There is no joint between two surfaces beneath the backrest where hair could collect. The gap runs across the entire width of the chair, so a vacuum cleaner nozzle can reach underneath without moving the furniture. This is most visible from the back, where the entire space between the seat and backrest is exposed.
Basin collar with pad
The pad separates the neck from the cold ceramic. The collar is contoured to fit the neck and covered with a synthetic material, so the client does not rest on a hard edge. The basin itself measures 56 by 50 cm and is 20 cm deep, with its edge positioned 38 cm above the base. The basin angle adjusts to the client's height.
Mixer tap
One lever instead of adjusting the proportions with two taps. The tap is positioned at the back of the basin, out of the client's head's reach. The black body contrasts with the white ceramic, making it visible even from the corner of your eye while rinsing.
Shower head holder
The shower head hangs on the edge when set down instead of lying in the basin. This keeps the drain clear even when you pause washing to reach for conditioner. The shower head and hose are included with the tap.
Plug with strainer
The strainer catches hair above the trap. The chrome-plated element closes the drain when you want to fill the basin, and otherwise filters the draining water. The collected hair stays on top and can be removed by hand.
Hose and connection
The pipes enter the wedge-shaped housing and do not run along the wall. The shower hose descends from the basin directly into the base, and the rear flap provides access to the plumbing without removing the bowl. The backwash unit requires a permanent connection to the water supply and drain.

The basin angle is adjusted using the screws and nuts at its mounting points, and correction may be necessary after transport. Loosen the nut, tighten the screw underneath, then tighten the nut again: one pair of screws tilts the basin downward, and the other upward. Tighten them gradually, a little on each side. If the basin still drops after adjustment, contact us.
