Gabbiano Porto white-and-beige hairdressing shampoo unit

The light Porto variant features a white base, white basin, white armrests, and white fittings, with only the upholstery in beige. Apart from the color scheme, the unit does not differ from the rest of the range, so it has the same ceramic basin with adjustable angle and the same gap beneath the backrest.

Key features

  • Beige upholstery, white armrests, and white fittings
  • Ceramic basin with a deep bowl
  • Adjustable basin angle
  • Gap between the backrest and seat makes cleaning easier
  • Metal armrests
  • Mixer tap, hand shower, and hoses included
  • Water connection concealed inside the base

Gap beneath the backrest

The broom passes under the backrest instead of stopping at its edge. The backrest and seat do not touch, so no groove forms beneath the chair to collect cut hair. Cleaning up after a client takes just one pass.

Ceramic basin with adjustable angle

The basin is 20 cm deep, so water does not splash over the rim. The ceramic basin measures 56 x 50 cm, and its edge is 38 cm above the base. The angle adjusts to the client's height, allowing the neck to rest on the contoured rim rather than its edge. A plastic pad prevents the ceramic from feeling cold.

White metal instead of chrome

The armrests and fittings have the same white finish as the base. Combined with beige upholstery, this creates a piece of furniture in which only the surface where the client sits is darker. The arm is 37 cm long and has a 4 cm wide profile.

Tap and hand shower

One lever instead of two taps. The mixer lets you set the temperature in one movement before the water reaches the hair. The complete tap set comes with the hoses.

Chrome plug

Hair is caught above the drain, not in the pipe. This element performs two functions at once—it closes the basin and filters the draining water. It is a small detail that saves you from calling a plumber.

Hose and connection

The plumbing enters the base from underneath. The shower hose descends from the basin straight into the inside of the housing, where the pipes are routed. Nothing is left outside that could catch on your foot.

Synthetic leather and foam

Smooth surface with a single seam along the edge. Without quilting, paint does not soak into the seam recesses, and the surface can be wiped clean in one motion. The 52 x 47 cm seat is 9 cm thick.

Who is it for?

For a salon where the backwash unit stands in a visible place and is cleaned after every client. There is open space across the full width of the chair between the backrest and the seat, so a broom can pass underneath in a single motion.

Other versions of this furniture

The same model in other versions: black-and-beige, beige-and-gold, white-and-black.

FAQ

Is the plumbing also white?
Yes. The tap, handset, and hose are white, as are the armrests and base.

Does the backwash unit require a water connection?
Yes. The pipes run inside the base, and the rear flap provides access to them.

How large is the basin?
56 x 50 cm, with a bowl depth of 20 cm.

What is included?
A mixer tap, shower handset, and hoses.

How much space does the backwash unit take up?
It is 110 cm long, and the base is 68 cm high.

What should I use to disinfect the upholstery?
Use alcohol-free products without strong detergents. Alcohol-based products and products such as Cif remove the protective layer from synthetic leather, causing the material to become dull and lose its flexibility.

The basin tilts downward. What should I do?
The basin angle is adjusted using the screws and nuts at its mounting point, and adjustment may be needed after transport. Loosen the nut, tighten the screw underneath, then tighten the nut again: one pair of screws tilts the basin downward, the other upward. Tighten gradually, a little on each side. If the basin still tilts downward after adjustment, contact us.
