How to Choose a Hairdressing Backwash Unit

• Basin - ceramic, white or black, often with an adjustable angle. Check whether the set includes a mixer tap and a shower head; most of our backwash units do.
• Chair - fixed, with an adjustable footrest, or electric, which raises the legs and reclines the backrest using a remote control. An electric model is useful for longer treatments and rituals.

• Connections - hot and cold water, plus a drain in the floor or wall. The connections run inside the base; have a plumber connect them.
• Dimensions - a backwash unit with the footrest extended takes up more space than the base dimensions suggest. The dimensions of each model are listed on its product page and drawing.
• Shampoo station - a basin on a column, without a chair. A solution for small salons and barbershops where clients sit in their own chair.
